Although one of the couple’s strength is
their complementary personalities and skills,“I’m
very much the organizer,” Jami explains. “I worked
in event coordination for several years and I’m very focused
on orchestrating the details of a transaction from start to
finish.” In many ways, event coordination for the city
and working for The Folly Theatre and The Kansas City Attack
provided Jami with many tools needed for real estate. “You’re
dealing with big events in the life of your clients. You must
be on top of details, but never forget the people involved.”
Jami’s
switch to real estate when she bought her own home.
“I loved
the buying process! Most
people hate that, but I just loved

it!”
She spent five years in real estate with the respected
Gail G. Dicus as the marketing manager and top sales agent.
“Kansas City is really moving
forward,” Jami clarifies. “It’s so exciting.”
In addition to, as Peter reveals about themselves, “We’re
both from Kansas City, and we love it here.”
Jami
is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) a Graduate Realtor
Institute (GRI), and a Certified Relocation Specialist (CRS).

HYDE
Peter
formed his “We meet your needs. You reach your dreams.”
philosophy at an early age. The son of 25-year real estate veteran
Ann Hyde, he learned by observing real estate transactions at
the dinner table. He began sharpening his skills at an early age.
“My family believes in education,” he explains, who
graduated from Occidental College in L.A., and also studied abroad.
“I was blessed to learn real estate under my mother, who
is among the best in town. My love of life, sports and sales came
from my grandfather, Delmont Peterson. And my even temperament
came from my father, Peter Hyde.”
Jami Hyde, partner and wife, expresses this about her husband:

paper from front to back every morning. And
he’s involved throughout the community. He knows not only
what’s happening and what’s going to happen, but who’s
making it happen!”
“We
make buying a house a lot of fun,” Peter enlightens. “It
shouldn’t be a job or ordeal. The idea is we do a lot more
preparation and arranging the details that makes the process a
lot more enjoyable for the client. And thus, our goal is another
satisfied customer and customer for life.”

Their
love for Kansas City has been well placed especially of late as
a range of developments has revitalized the city’s core,
while progress continues in the outlying areas. They believe in
positive trends in the urban care ranging from the entertainment
district and the upcoming performing arts center. However, even
though the majority of their business comes from Brookside, the
Plaza, Mission Hills and the rest of Johnson County, but they
are not just limited to these regions. And although they specialize
in residential real estate, selling to singles, couples, and families,
they also dabble in commercial. The area is widespread.
